Blue Trilby Cottage, a seaside victorian near Bar Harbor, Maine, was renovated from January to July 2009. Major structural work was required. After the house was pulled up from its severe tilt to the left, walls were demolished to increase the space inside by utilizing nooks and crannies found in the eaves. A small attic space became a bedroom after the addition of dormirs. The house grew 400 sf.
